Who is Barret?:
Barret is the leader of Avalanche. He lives in the Slums of Midgar with Marlene, his daughter. He used to live in Corel, until Shinra burnt it down, killing his wife. He went to Midgar and had a gun grafted onto his arm so as he could get his revenge against Shinra. Barret is a huge hulk physically but can actually be a softie, although you'd never get him to admit it. Barret understands materia, but prefers the standard "shoot 'em up" style of fighting.
His Limit Breaks:
Barret’s limit breaks are generally useful for causing good amounts of damage, which is generally what you want limit breaks for.
Level one:
BIG SHOT - a big ball of energy gathers on his gun, which he then fires at an opponent.
MINDBLOW - same as above, but takes of MP instead of HP.
Level two:
GRENADE BOMB - launches a grenade at your opponents.
HAMMER BLOW - knocks at enemy out of battle with a single punch. This limit is useless in boss fights as it doesn’t cause any direct damage.
Level three:
SATELLITE BEAM - Uses a satellite to attack a group of enemies.
UNGERMAX - shoots the enemies lots of times.
Level four:
CATASTROPHE - Hovers over your enemies and burns them with a load of plasma.
